Today’s Floor-Drain Innovation: Form, Function, and Lifetime Durability

12:05 PM - 01:05 PM
This course will define the open-channel linear floor drain, a new category and innovation in drainage solutions. First, we’ll explore the expectations when specifying a floor drain with durability and ease-of-maintenance topping the list. Next, we’ll discuss how the open-channel linear drain differs from traditional, grated floor drains, beginning with the pre-fabrication quality and galvanized-steel materials. You’ll see how the open-channel structure contributes to a sleek design, makes cleaning easy, and lasting for the life of the building. Finally, this course will review the residential and commercial applications that benefit from the open-channel linear floor drain, especially those that must meet hygiene regulations. This innovation pairs form and function demonstrating that something simple as capturing and moving water shouldn’t be a problem for years to come.
