GaryI have zero experience with specifying elevators or vertical platform lifts. This was a great session that explained the general necessary concepts and focused on the basic requirements for code and installation.
DariaThis gave me a better understanding of a LULA in order to determine the conditions where its use is applicable.
EdwardThe question regarding minimum cab size to conform to ADA requirements does not provide a correct answer. Per slide 27: entry/exit same side and straight through both are 36x48 per ADA 2010 and A1171.1 2017, while slide 40 states the same cab types are 48x54 or 42x60 to meet ADA, IBC, and A117.1 requirements. Which is correct, and why are none of those potential answers to the question? Or is there something I missed?
