Great Course.

Informative course

Lloyd

Did have a statement about one of the questions. Regarding the minimum cab size question, believe that there need to be some additional details associated with the question. Had to deduce what the closest answer was and also verified with chapter 4 of the ADA code.

I have zero experience with specifying elevators or vertical platform lifts. This was a great session that explained the general necessary concepts and focused on the basic requirements for code and installation.

This gave me a better understanding of a LULA in order to determine the conditions where its use is applicable.

The question regarding minimum cab size to conform to ADA requirements does not provide a correct answer. Per slide 27: entry/exit same side and straight through both are 36x48 per ADA 2010 and A1171.1 2017, while slide 40 states the same cab types are 48x54 or 42x60 to meet ADA, IBC, and A117.1 requirements. Which is correct, and why are none of those potential answers to the question? Or is there something I missed?
