At the end of this course, participants will be able to analyze if their curtain wall project needs a structural or non structural silicone sealant for a long term preservation of the building envelope. 2. At the end of this course, participants will be able to implement procedures for proper surface preparation before sealing joints. 3. At the end of this course, participants will be able to describe the different families of sealants and justify using one over the other and how to make better choices when you design sustainable building. 4. At the end of this course, participants will be able to describe why UV light deteriorates some sealants and not others.
